Have fun, it’s just a wedding!!!!!
When I read this response in Emma’s wedding questionnaire I just knew we were going to have fun on her wedding day! Emma booked me back in 2016 for an August 17 wedding. However Mother Nature decided it was a better time for her and Jordan to have a baby! So everything was postponed for 12 months!
It turned out even better because not only did Emma get to marry her best friend, but her gorgeous (and endearingly cheeky) children got to be a part of her special day. There’s nothing cuter than a baby in a suit!
After a mishap with her original wedding dress, Emma got to wear a glorious Christina Rossi dress that her dear friend Kathryn tweaked to make it a perfect fit for her. And her bouquet by Jo-Anne Phelan was one of the biggest bouquets I have ever seen.
The ceremony started with the wedding party arriving in the biggest hummers I have seen at Gold Creek Chapel. Throughout the ceremony, children ran around, one nearly sent Emma off the step after tripping on her veil. This was greeted with giggles and laughter.
Next it was off to Four Winds Vineyard to spend the evening eating fresh pizza that kept flying out of the pizza oven. The night wrapped up for everyone with some fun dance floor moves.
It was a day of heart warming laughter and fun. Emma declared it was the happiest day of her life, which is just how a wedding day should feel! She got to marry her best friend, dance the night away with her children and welcome new family members!
